cooperative parenting divorce

How should we deal with a mother too?
My father and mother (they divorced) decided that the seizure of my task for me more cooperative is a perfectly valid to do so. After power struggles start with me, I suppose, to show them "or something like domain. Example – I have to paint a project for my 8th grade class of the shop Monday and should require two coats of paint (and in two days, one of them today). My father and my stepmother took the paint and my phone so I do one hour of yard work. When finished, they demanded I do the rest of my task. Once done, you always have refused to let me paint the project, refused to state any specific reason for it. In summary, I would greatly appreciate some advice on how to address (and even enjoying my time) difficult people who happen to be my parents. Thanks in advance!
That's why we do not live in a communist country! It seems that you must try everything possible to avoid them and to yourself until you find useful can come out ….
