Scrubs is produced by ABC, through its production division, but was released by rival NBC. According to show runner Lawrence the layout is unusual, at least for 2007: "The show is a dinosaur in a network and another one hundred percent" and as is now in syndication, making a lot "of money for Touchstone. Braff confirmed that he and ABC have broadcast the seventh season had NBC refused.
From Scrubs airs worldwide in many different languages, foreign languages where the question should be modified for international versions. Spanish Carla changes Italy in the Spanish version of the program, German and Danish Elliot is changed (or at least a fourth episode of the season with a Swiss German accent) in the German version of the series.
The chest radiograph at the end of the title sequence was hung upside down for most of the first five seasons. Bill Lawrence said that the fact that X-rays backwards was intentional, as it meant that new interns were inexperienced. However, for the comment Zach Audio Braff on "My last chance," says the error was actually unintentional. This error is very dark and was even parodied in "love."
We have tried to correct the error in the sequence of titles that are used in great beginning of season 2, but then spread (including corrected X-ray) soon were dismissed at the request of the fan and the network. Finally, in "My Urologist" Dr. Kim Briggs steps in the credits and switches around X-ray, saying: "It's back was bothering me for years". At the beginning of season 8, when the series moved to ABC, the chest radiograph was back again.
