How long does it take to live in America? (Canada)?
I am currently 17 years old (My birthday is in September) and I'm planning on moving and stay in the United States with my boyfriend (as we are still together.) We've been together a year and still we're fine, I've visited remained in Oregon for a week and met with his family. My parents think it's a wonderful idea, I have lived in Canada all my life like my parents. I have read hard to become a resident, and I understand that I must be 18 years or older to apply .. But I have not found the answer to certain questions. What exactly the "naturalization"? I understand that you must be a permanent resident of the United Kingdom United States of America to the application, you must have lived moderately in the United States for about five years (sometimes less). But how I can become a resident? Are there any forms and documents, I have to comply? I have my passport .. Or make a trip to the States, live and then apply? I really confused!
You need a sponsor or immediate family member or U.S. employer prompting a green card (permanent residence). For the family, you need a U.S. citizen, boyfriend, husband, father, brother or sister. Its Author meets I-130 and later, you must apply for a green card. You need an immigrant visa (green card) to live and work in the United States.
