Tips for children with ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder)?

Somebody out there has any advice or plans of behavior modification for families with a child with ODD. My husband and I are quite Youg parents, I 26 and he 32. We have 3 children, a 6-Girl 2 Boy and 2 months. Recently, our daughter more, had been diagnosed with ODD, the next after 2 years of constant behavior problems, it has even been asked to leave school. So far there has been no mention of his being, possibly, ADD or ADHD, even if my husband has ADHD and takes medication every day for her. We know we face an uphill battle and it is medicaiton really ODD that can help, so if anyone has ideas, good books to read, or simply words of encouragement would be appreciated.

I'm reading a book right now called "strong-willed child" by Dr. Dobson. I disagree with some points, but the book has some good advice on discipline of a child as his.
